Lime Stucco | Heritage Restoration| Float finish

Project; To apply new Lime Stucco coating to new addition with original materials and traditional techniques. Float finish.

Project location; Hamilton, Ontario

Description; We were asked by the client to match the existing stucco finish on the original house and replicate it on the new stick frame addition. This was a great little project in the Alexander and Bay area of Hamilton. After installing our furring strips at the right spacing and applying our mesh the next few steps were to apply subsequent Lime Stucco coatings Scratch/Brown/finish to leave a fresh new Traditional Float finish. In the sping of 2012 'The Lime Plaster Company' will return to site to apply a Limewash or Potassium Silicate coating.
