Happy Holidays from all of us...
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year from all of us at 'The Lime Plaster Company'. Thank you for your ongoing support and business throughout 2011. It has been a great year for us in more ways than one. We completed work on our second National Historic site Dundurn Castle, Hamilton, which was a great experience and opportunity for the company that allowed us to really show the beauty and effectiveness of using traditional plaster remediation techniques. The front hall work has recently been finished and I have to say looks absoloutely fantastic. We also completed a three coat Roughcast Stucco application on a lovely property down in Dundas, Ontario. Not only did we use similar materials to those used for the original stucco in 1860 namely reinforced lime but we also kept the original substrate (wooden lath) repairing only where necessary and using only wooden lath to do this. Finally, and in my opinion the best thing to happen in 2011, was the birth of our son Owen William Scott born Sept 18th. I won't babble on like an over proud father but I will say that the arrival of our son has definitely shown us the importance of family especially at this time of year.

CHEERS TO YOU AND YOURS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON AND ALL THE BEST FOR 2012...!
