Project; To carefully dismantle and restore an 1880's brick chimney with original Lime mortar.sssss

Project description; Parts of the original  chimney on this building had unfortunately come to the end of there time, so The Lime Plaster Company was tasked with taking down what had failed and rebuilding using the same materials and masonary units. The lime mortar had to be matched and the bricks prepared properly, to enable a successful installation. After the stack had been rebuilt and levelled in, we proceeded with lime mortar repointing. Once this had cured sufficently the lime pointing had additional tint added to it, giving an overall weathered look.
